Glenn Beck is the host of Glenn Beck, CNN Headline News' new topical talk show which premiered on May 8, 2006, on Headline Prime.

Glenn Beck -- born February 10, 1964 -- is a conservative talk-radio and television host. His show, The Glenn Beck Program, is syndicated by almost 250 radio stations and on XM Satellite Radio, in the continental United States and Puerto Rico. It is also third highest-rated national radio talk show among adults ages 25 to 54.

Beck got his chance at WFLA-AM and launched The Glenn Beck Program during the afternoon drive, filling the slot vacated by Bob Lassiter. Rejecting the idea that he must be all politics, all comedy, or be Dr. Laura, Beck hosted a show that was a little of each. In the first year, The Glenn Beck Program move from 18th place to the #1 position. Within 18 months, Premiere Radio Networks, the leading radio syndication company in the country, offered Beck the opportunity to go national. In January 2002, The Glenn Beck Program launched on 47 stations growing to 212 stations by Jan 2006. With over 2.75 million listeners it was ranked 8th in the nation and 3rd among listeners age 25-54.

Hosted from Headline News' New York studios, Glenn Beck offers an unconventional look at the news of the day featuring Beck's unique and often amusing perspective. With topics ranging from top stories to world events and politics to life’s ordinary hassles and pop culture, the show will look at "water cooler issues" that are on people's minds.

Glenn Beck on CNN Headline News airs nightly at 7:00pm Eastern Time, repeating at 9:00 pm and 12:00 am.
