* Rep. Paul Ryan

FOX NEWS’ STEVE DOOCY: “So you are throwing your support to?”

REP. PAUL RYAN: “Mitt Romney. Here is the point, we vote on Tuesday here in Wisconsin. Lots of my friends, family and supporters are asking me, who do we think we should vote for? I have two criteria I’m using to make my decision to vote in our primary on Tuesday. Who is the best person to be president? Who will make the best president? And who has the best chance of defeating Barack Obama? In my opinion, Mitt Romney is clearly that person.

“Here’s the other point: I spent a good deal of time with Mitt Romney and his staff recently going through our country's fiscal situation, talking about just what it’s going to take to get the country back on track. And I am convinced that Mitt Romney has the skills, the tenacity, the principles, the courage and the integrity to do what it takes to get America back on track. So I believe that he's the right person for the job and I think this primary has been productive. I think it's been constructive up 'til now. I think it's made the candidates better. But I think we're entering a phase where it could become counterproductive if this drags on much longer. And so that’s why I think we need to coalesce as conservatives around Mitt Romney and focus on the big task at hand which is defeating Barack Obama in the fall.”

“Barack Obama won a blow out victory in Wisconsin in 2008... Mitt Romney has pulled to within 3 points of Obama at 46-43...

“Obama has more comfortable leads over the rest of the Republican field, providing further confirmation that Romney is the only GOP hopeful who really has any hope of beaing Obama at this point.” PublicPolicyPolling.com - Oct 28, 2011

March 31, 2012 - Pewaukee, Wisconsin

“Paul Ryan Says Mitt Romney Will ‘Save This Country’ ...

“ “He is a very sincere, very smart, very committed man,” Ryan said. “What I see in Mitt Romney are the kinds of skills, tools, character attributes that you need in a leader! He makes decisions. He doesn’t pander. So what I see is a person who understands the moment our country is facing, and a person who is willing to do what it takes to get out of the path we are on and on to the path to prosperity.” ”

* Senator Ron Johnson

April 1, 2012:

NBC’s Savannah Guthrie: “Who will you be supporting?”

Senator Ron Johnson: “Mitt Romney and good morning, Savannah. I’m the business guy from Oshkosh, Wisconsin. I have 33 years’ experience in the private sector. I’ve been in Washington now for 15 months. I certainly understand a big part of our problem is the fact that this president and members of his administration have no private sector experience whatsoever. And Governor Romney has 25 years of experience in the private sector, plus, he has executive experience in government. And I never did intend to endorse anybody but I’ve had the opportunity to meet with Governor Romney over the last couple weeks, have long phone conversations with him. I’ve come away from those conversations fully convinced that Governor Romney is the person to lead our party, to lead our nation. He fully understands the gravity of our financial situation. He’s dedicated toward solving those problems. He is ready, willing and able to lead this nation, unlike President Obama.

“So today I’m happy to announce my full support and my endorsement of Governor Romney to be the next President of the United States. I’m looking forward to working with Governor Romney and his team in my new role. I’ve been asked by Leader McConnell to lead an effort, coordinate our agenda and our message in the House, the Senate, with our presidential candidate, so that we can communicate to the voters of America, the very clear choice in our approach. We actually want to rely on the private sector. We know that it’s freedom in the free market system versus President Obama’s approach, growing government, growing government intrusion in our lives. I’m looking forward to making sure that President Obama is a one-term president.”

* Fmr. Rep. Mark Green

“This might be the most important election of my lifetime,” said Ambassador Green. “On Tuesday, Wisconsin voters will have the chance to vote for a change of direction in Washington. Mitt Romney is the only candidate who can get our economy back on track, shrink government and restore our standing around the world. With so much at stake for our country, it is important that Wisconsin voters support Mitt Romney, a proven leader and man of great vision.”

"Ambassador Mark Green is the former Ambassador to Tanzania and a former Wisconsin Congressman."

Rep. Thomas Petri (R-WI)

“ "In Washington, we need a leader with a record of finding new and innovative solutions to some of our country's greatest challenges. On so many issues, we need to move beyond talk to action. In Governor Romney, we have a leader who has been tested and proven with a record of solving some of our most pressing problems by demonstrating creative, conservative leadership. I look forward to working with Governor Romney to help our nation meet a new generation of challenges," said Congressman Petri.”

* State Rep. Jim Ott

* State Rep. Dan Knodl

* State Rep. Gary Tauchen

* State Rep. Jeff Stone

* State Rep. Mark Honadel

* State Rep. Dale Kooyenga

State Sen. Ablerta Darling:

“It is time for Republicans to unite in our efforts to defeat President Obama and nominate the only leader who can win in November and bring real change to Washington. Mitt Romney has proved throughout this long primary process that he is head-and-shoulders above the rest of the candidates when it comes to understanding the economy and presenting an economic plan that will create jobs. Wisconsin deserves a leader like Mitt Romney and he deserves the support of Wisconsin voters in April and November.”

“And Mitt Romney is the one who has the background, the vision, the ideas. He’s the only one who has the business experience. I think that affects many women in their vote because most women are very concerned about the future for their children and their grandchildren and they really are concerned that we’re at a pivotal point, just as we are in Wisconsin, we’re at the epicenter. If things don’t change now, we are going to really have a failed future for our children.”

★ Fmr. State Senator Ted Kanavas

Announcing his support Kanavas said, “Mitt Romney is the only candidate with a record of job creation in the private sector and as a governor. After three years of President Obama’s failed policies, it is clear that we need a president with experience working in the private sector, not another career politician. Wisconsin will be a critical state in this election. Mitt Romney is the only candidate who has the leadership experience Wisconsin voters are looking for and is the best candidate to beat President Obama in Wisconsin.”

“ "It is an honor to join Governor Romney and his campaign for our nation's highest office," said Senator Kanavas.”

“I think Mitt Romney would make a great President.”

* News endorsement: Romney's pragmatism makes him the best pick

"... Romney has been successful at everything he has touched. Despite growing up in a wealthy family, he has worked hard - first at Harvard, where he was awarded both an advanced degree in business and a law degree, and then in subsequent ventures, from his days at a money management firm, Bain Capital, where he made his own fortune, to his successful stewardship of the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics. He strikes us as a hard worker, a pragmatic problem-solver, a good manager.

"Romney is by far the best choice for Republicans on Tuesday."

“ "He (Romney) has done this in the private sector, at the 2002 Winter Olympics and as Governor, and I know he will do the same as President. I encourage Wisconsin voters to join me in supporting the candidate with the experience we need, Governor Mitt Romney," Buestrin urged...

“Mary Buestrin Has Served As Wisconsin's Republican National Committeewoman Since 1992. She currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Republican Party of Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Federation of Republican Woman, and the Republican Party of Ozaukee County...

Wisconsin Right to Life Supports Mitt Romney

“It is time for every American citizen who believes in the right to life cause to unite behind Mitt Romney.”

Camille Solberg

“Solberg most recently served as President of the Wisconsin Coalition for Traditional Marriage where she led the successful ballot initiative to defend traditional marriage. This initiative passed with nearly 60% of the vote. She is currently a writer for the Wisconsin Christian News...

“With today's announcement, Camille Solberg said, "Governor Romney has a strong record on the issues that matter most to social conservative voters. Facing unprecedented challenges to some of our most basic values, he acted to promote a culture of life, defend traditional marriage and strengthen the family. His is a record of action and a platform social conservatives can and are supporting. I am honored to be a part of his team." ”
